On the 3rd December 2018 WHITER’S BUTCHERY opened their door for trading. Buoyed by their combined history in butchering, Fred and Sheena Whiter set out to beat the odds by supplying fresh meat back to Eden, throwing themselves into direct competition with IGA and Coles supermarkets, both of which had an in-house butchery. To their relief, Eden’s townsfolk, tired of supermarket meats welcomed the new family butchery with enthusiasm, and the business quickly began to thrive. Together with their tribe of six children Whiter’s is a truly family-operated business, where the younger generation is frequently in uniform helping operate the shop.Last print ad
