About
Bega Rotary was chartered on 16 June 1954. The sponsor clubs were the Rotary Clubs of Cooma and Queanbeyan. The Club has 35 members drawn from Bega, Tathra, Tura and surrounding localities. Our main fund raisers are two book fairs in early January and early July each year. This allows us to support the local community. We have been actively involved in the Community Carers Accommodation at the new South East Regional Hospital. Also we offer local youth a range of personal development activities, science & engineering, driver awareness programs, community activities and international exchange opportunities. We contribute to Australian Rotary Health research and international projects in Timor Leste and the eradication of polio.Last print ad
